Hadriel, God of Hope
Domains: Celerity, Force, Good, Inquisition
Once the leader of a Heavenly Host, Hadriel saw the High Heavens lost to evil and infighting. Saddened by this, he left kingdoms he had guarded since time forgotten.
Upon the material plane, he sought out the least powerful and weakest races. Protecting them, many came to worship him as a god and he gave them hope. To them he gave the Laws of Hadriel:
Malcathet, Goddess of Dreams
Domains: Dream, Evil, Knowledge, Oracle
Long ago in the time before the War of the Gods, there lived a powerful wizard who shunned life with people and built golems to serve her. One day, the gods came to her and asked for armies that could rise and fall a hundred times over. With her powers, she created the warforged.
After the gods had dispatched each other, the Wizard grew sad for her part in the war. Giving the warforged minds, she asked for them to make their own choices in life. Soon after, she died and the golems and warforged were sad.
It was many years later when the plains they lived upon slowly became made of metal, the trees turned to iron rods, and the animals changed to become terrible armored beasts. Working at their duties which they had never stopped, the wizard arrived. She had changed her name to Malcathet and had become more powerful. The constructs worshiped her every need and ,one by one, the Demon of Sleep gained her followers to become a god...
Pan, The Fertile Beast
Domains: Animal, Earth, Plant, Summoner
Pan was a powerful fey, some say a verdant lord or the like, who found the humans suffering from starvation. Using the powers of Spring, the humans feasted on a bounty that seemed to erupt from the very earth.
As the humans worshiped The Fertile Beast, certain members of their clans gained magical powers over nature. Eventually, the humans sported a large number of rangers and clerics. However, five were always druids:
Quetzalcoatl, The Feathered Serpent
Domains: Air, Domination, Sun, Weather
Moving the sun across the sky, Quetzalcoatl demands his worshipers be strong of body and will. If the legends are to be believed, his mother ate an emerald and this was the conception of The Feathered Serpent. Upon reaching adulthood, he left his home and battled the forces of corruption and depravity. Some say he even fought the terrible elemental masters of fire and earth, beating them down with his mystical fire breath. Legends are told of when he devoured the great Ugin of Magic, a vile monster with magic so fierce none could touch him.
Eventually, he gained godlike powers from the goblins as they worshiped him as a god. With these new powers, Quetzalcoatl ensures his chosen people are safe and the sun rises each day...
